So here I am in America! I am actually writing this on October 18th, 2008. A whole year+ from the last update, crazy!
While I was in Great Lakes I dated a guy for a while and finagled him into geocaching with me one day.
This was supposed to be easy, my gps pointed me to a lightpole in a parkinglot for some big chain store, but I was getting impatient with proving to Mautz that Geocaching is FUN so we just moved on after 10 minutes of looking for a little thing.
Me and Mautz were SWARMED by mosquitos, billions of them.
He was wearing shorts so I planted him in one spot and went tearing around searching for the cache, found it no problem and hastily scribbled something about bugs and hightailed it out of there. Itchyness.
He found it before me! Quite pleased with himself too. I forgot to bring a pencil so my log is scribbled in with eyeliner, oops! And that spinning globe thing was pretty awesome.
