I’m making this one whole post because I am lazy, and it works better anyways.
Backstory: Casmo (Ruben, my online friend for many years) is leaving for Manchester college. I was all “zomg, I must visit you one last time”. I didn’t visit him too often because his house is like an hour from mine and I’m lazy. I asked him when I first got into geocaching if he wanted to do some with me, but he was not interested. Then when he said he was leaving I organized some time to spend with him, and he suggested we geocache! We found three altogether, and I had fun.

I just really can’t be bothered to go back and fix those caches that are missing pictures and input stories for the ones I skipped over, so here is a random grab bag of those pictures with some descriptions as I remember them. Warning: long post, image heavy.

So continuing from the DNF right before, this cache led me right back up to the castle. The muggles were dispersing and it had probably been about 30 minutes since they last saw me as on my way back to the car I had spent some time looking around for the clue I was looking for (some sort of sign with dates on it).

This cache led me near a very cool restaurant my parents and I love to eat at, they hand raise some of their dishes and hunt the rest (their wild pig is excellent, as is the deer). Here’s a small video I took of some of the tastier beasties:

I’ve decided to just go ahead and log what I have, and go back and add the pictures and logs when the pictures develop. I will post a new news post when that happens so anyone can easily click back to see what old caches have been added.

I’ve been to this cache twice and just can’t seem to find it! This time around I took my mother with me, and the digi cam. The cache area is some sort of chapel out in the woods on a hill, nice enough but I can’t find the cache which made me MAD D:
But I took loads of pictures!

I don’t typically blog DNFs, unless I took pictures (but I do log them on the geocaching site). I only have half the pictures for this one, since my last disposable camera ran out and I took some with my new digi cam. Will post the rest when they develop.
I found the first coordinate area no problem, but I was confronted with a small furry animal. I poked it with a stick, and when I tried to flip it over it protested and righted itself back up! I thought it vaguely looked like a possum and after a quick call to my mother it was decided I should take it to a zoo.

Oh man what a disaster. I turned a 1 star difficulty into a 4 star difficulty. I took my mother and grandmother with me at first, but they left me at stage 1 to go to a “cafe” nearby. Without them I went to stage two, and then decided to go straight towards the last stage.
Phew, done updating for now.

It’s actually August 19th, but I took two whole rolls of film on disposable cameras. I haven’t even turned in the second camera to be developed, but more should be coming in about a week hopefully. After that I switched to a digital camera so updates should be same day as cache found.
Awesome things in the future:
Lefty saves a adorable fuzzy creature from certain doom!
Also, lefty falls into a creek and ends up muddy! Video footage of the aftermath as soon as I figure out how to convert mov to something usable! Huzzah!
